Professionally, I work as a Graphic/User Experience Designer/Architect. Working out of Philadelphia, I’ve worked with Temple University, Ersnt & Young and Otsuka. Within my design work, I specifically enjoy working with typography. I believe it to be the backbone of any design project.
But when I’m not designing (and not busy with music, comic books or gaming), I’m either shooting or editing photos. It sounds cliche, but I always have my camera with me. I never know when there’s going to be a shot I may never get again. I enjoy searching for interesting angles, mainly through urban photography.
I think color film produces some of the best-looking photos, specifically Fuji’s Classic Chrome and Classic Negative, both simulations I shoot with. With my edits, I try to imagine what that film would produce today, in 2022. Not as a way to improve upon that look, but rather modernize it.
